I just installed and tested a display model of the Woodpecker Sidewinder. WOW !! It is now on my short list. The lift still has the quick acting “Plunge/lift” feature but now has a crank handle that is mounted on the side of your router table, really sweet to use, and far superior to the thumb wheel on the Woodpecker Rout-R-Lift.

Sidewinders

Sounds like an interesting setup for a router lift, though. But, I'm happy iwth my BenchDog Pro lift, where I only have to get cranky as required. ;-)
