Woodrat vs Leigh Mortise machines

I’ve rec’d some feedback about the Woodrat mortise device and am trying to understand its pros and cons vs the Leigh FMT. The Woodrat does seem to have a lot of flexibility but I just wonder if all that flexibility makes standard motise and tenons more of a challenge than a template driven device like the FMT. Are there any users out there (on both sides of the discussion) who can share some thoughts and insights? Thanks

And you can download the full version of the WR user's manual. I think reading this manual was the final thing that lead me to purchasing a WoodRat.
