Does anyone know of a 10 inch bandsaw that is good quality (relatively good, that is) that has a 1hp motor?

Putting a 1 hp motor on a 10" saw is pretty extreme, a well tuned 14" saw with the correct blade can resaw a 12" board with a 3/4 hp motor. If you were actually sawing on a 10" saw where you needed a full 1 hp you would probably be overloading the blade, guides, bearings, and wheel axles. Why do you think you need so large a motor on a small saw?

I think Inca used to make a small bandsaw that was of very high quality, perhaps you could find one on the used market.
