Woodsmith aluminum box joint jig – help
I ordered the Woodsmith aluminum box joint jig from Woodcraft and when I received it, it appeared to be used. Some fine sawdust was visible and the bag containing parts had been opened. Also, there was no instruction manual. I called Woodcraft and they had no manual but said to send it back to them for a refund. Now, it is not rocket science to use this jig, but according to features pictured on the box, it is not possible to adjust the jig for small box joints. Do any of you have experience with this jig and/or have access to a user manual I could get a copy of? The Woodsmith web site doesn’t have any downloads for the manual.
Thanks in advance.

Guy, I have that jig and have been using it quite a bit lately. I would be happy to send you a copy of the manual. So far I've only used it for quarter-inch box joints. However, I saw a sample of one-eighth box joint at the local Woodcraft that was made by taking the moveable pin apart so that only one-half of it was being used. Anyhow, see that I get your mailing address or fax number and I'll see that you get a copy of the manual.
