I need help from a woodturner. I have a small studio/foundry where I make and sell bronze castings for lawn and garden ornaments.
I would like to do a series of windchimes. I’m thinking about a windchime that consists of 6-8 small bronze bells all of slightly diffenent sizes to produce different tones.
I’m looking for someone to turn a set of foundry patterns of the bells. I don’t have the time to make the set myself. I would like for them to be made out of plastic( polyethylene-UHMW)for stability and durability. From experience, this stuff turns very nicely!
Along, with not having the time, I also lack an artistic touch and imagination to create a beautifully curved bell. I would like the bell shape slightly exagerated to make it unique…maybe long and skinny.
Anyway, if anyone is interested, drop me a line so we can share ideas and discuss details.
Thanks
-Rob

*Wesley, Greetings. It is good to hear from a kindred spirit. I was a patternmaker in the trade for 60 years. I am retired now and limit my shop work to things I have always wanted to do, but never had the time. I ran up on this forum quite by accident several months ago.I enjoy the questions and answers, some are quite informative.I have, on occasion, been known to find the courage to post something myself.
