   Hi Len.  I haven't followed the "how to sell" thread over at WWA.  Was eBay voted down as an option?  I'm having a hard time thinking of any other way to do it!

   Hey Len,

   Have you thought about getting a "celebrity" behind this. FW did an article on Jimmy Carter a few issues back. It seems he might be the right man to help rally this.

   Just a thought.

   Len, our chief muckety muck pr guy is trying to get in touch with Pres Carter, and the Oprah show. Contact info for the Oprah show has been provided and alot of people sent emails with the story. : Betsy Finston Director for Oprah.com= [email protected]      Lesia Minor Senior associate producer=        [email protected]    Pat Towers, features editor for Oprah magazine=         [email protected]  So if you ever need to contact the Oprah show!!!!

   I posted here hopeing Fine WW mag would get interested in the story. Ebay is on the back burner because we feel it would be mostly bargain hunters. The tentative target date for the auction is late june or early july. Nothing definite yet. Someone sent the info to "the Carter foundation" If there is a better way to contact Pres Carter, email the info and I'll pass it on. Thanks for the reply!!!   Len

   Hi, Popeye!  Nick might be able to help (you remember him, participating in the pig-rollover, right?).  He was able to get a letter from Jimmy Carter to his dad when Pop turned 100yo last month.  He's over in Oregon this weekend, but I'll ask him tonight when we talk!

   One way to discorage bargain hunters on Ebay is to put a reserve on the auction or start it at a high price.Mark

   Measure it with a micrometer, mark it with chalk, cut it with an ax.
