Does anyone know of any woodworking clubs in or around Chicago?
I would be interested as long as it is not just a place for folks to stand around and drink punch and brag!
Thanks in advance!!!

I don't know if any are local for you, but it is a start. Contact these clubs to see if there are any clubs closer to you.

Muley,
Probably thought that you got rid of me. But seriously, I know of a group called Chicago Turners. Look up online under woodworkers guild.
Drop in on the Chicago Furniture Designers Association (http://www.cfdainfo.org) and they might be able to point you in the right direction.
