Hello,
I’m interested in learning woodworking and have only had high school wood shop and that was twenty years ago. I’ve looked online and searched the various community college catalogs but I can’t find any instruction offered in woodworking in Los Angeles. I’m going to keep looking but wanted to ask if anyone knew of any instructors in the Los Angeles area. I’ve checked Trade Tech, Santa Monica College, Valley College and LACC. I work full-time and can’t give up my job but would love to start learning. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cerritos College is the best around. The got classes in about everything you could imagine with woodworking. The registration for the spring classes is starting so you better get to steppin its such a popular program that the classes fill up real quick. But one thing about their program no matter what kind of experiance you got you have to take the beginnig course. just type in cerritos college in your search engine and your their. oh yea Its located in Norwalk. im waiting to get in their myself

I agree with Ron that Cerritos College is probably the best program around. I know that LA Trade Tech does have a Saturday woodworking class. The guy who teaches that also does the evening adult education class I attend at Alhambra H.S.
What about William Ng? https://wnwoodworkingschool.com/
It's Anaheim, but I live in Beaumont... It all seems the same to me! LOL
