I am doing inlay work and need to fill the gaps between the inlay and the base material. I will be sanding to create a slurry and need a glue that will dry clear so the sanded material forms the color. Is there a glue that dries clear?

Epoxy maybe?
Hide glue has always been the gold standard for inlay and veneer work. It's not clear, but is invisible to finish.
Thank You.
I heard of a Titebond product called Translucent. Has anyone used this?
Titebond hide glue & Old Brown Glue are clear when dry.
Elmers Glue All.
