   Hi Tim,

   I don't want to cut Gary off here... but Jeff Miller wrote a book called Children's Furniture Projects. He doesn't have plans for a rocking "train" but he does include plans for a rocking dinosaur. Perhaps you could customize from there?

   I'd never heard of a rocking train before but luckily a colleague enlightened me, and suggested the Jeff Miller book.
