Not sure if the cincinnati/dayton area is the only one, but this past weekend my local PBS station aired the first episode of newest season of The Woodwright’s Shop. Season 27 started with carving a keepsake box with a gentleman from Colonial Williamsburg. It’s nice to see Roy still out there producing shows after 27 years!! It must have been brand spanking new because not even www.pbs.org/wws has the latest season uploaded to their website yet.

Yes, the new season has started. I just finished filming a show with Roy for this season two weeks ago at Old Salem. Right now it is scheduled to air on Dec. 8th, but that probably varies with local stations. Take a look if you have any interest in German/Continental tools and original workbenches from the 18th and early 19th centuries.
Wow, I'm truly jealous! I would love to be a guest on his show but I have no business being one; I just mess around with hand tools and refurbish them in my basement. I've met Roy in Indianapolis about five years ago and he's helluva nice guy. I look forward to watching the episode you're in.l
