I saw the photo of Mr. Hack’s new workbench that will be featured in the next “Tools & Shops” issue, and, like anything else of his, I can’t wait to see the article. I have Mr. Scott Landis’ “The Workbench Book,” published by Taunton, and over the years I have seen many other interesting articles on workbenches that contain designs and histories of different benches, accessories, vises, cabinets, etc.
I have written down a list of these articles on the inside cover of the book and thought I’d try to share this list with others who might be contemplating a new bench or improvements for their existing bench. I scanned the list and have attached it to this posting.
I hope it is of some use to at least a few of you folks.

I like your writing (meaning the letters/words themselves).
Have you read Chris Schwarz' book on Workbenches? I highly recommend it.

Thank you. Chalk it up to a prep school education, perhaps. I have not read the individual book by Schwartz, but read a lot of his articles in the other mags. Thank you for the recommendation--I will look for it before starting a new bench. A long time ago I posted my baby cradles on http://www.lawriepinkham.com.
