I am considering purchasing a set of workbench quick release casters with a few extra sets of mounting plates to be used for moving shop cabinets and benches as needed.
I would appreciate your opinions on all quick release casters especially the Rockler, PowerTec, SpaceCare, and Dozawa.
Obviously the SpaceCare and Dozawa are less expensive but have similar product spec’s and similar photos to the more expensive casters. Their price raises the quality question.
Thanks for your comments

As it happens I just installed the DOZAWA Workbench Stepdown Casters on my workbench today. The screws are a bit flimsy but I made them work. Other than that they seem to do the job fine.
I INSTALLED THE ROCKLER AND THEY WERE UNABLE TO SUPPORT MY BENCH
I ordered a set from Highland (I think they're Dozawa, but I'll have to confirm) for a large worktable in the FW shop. A week later I ordered two more sets for a couple more workbenches. They're fantastic and we've been using them all the time.
I bought the 800 lb capacity Spacecare workbench caster set and the Powertec quick release workbench caster plates in 2020 and haven't had any problems with them. Although I don't use them very often. The casters spend most of their time in a drawer. I see Spacecare now makes a 900 lb capacity set of casters for a $1 more which is probably worth the small extra cost. Both were purchased on Amazon for about $60 total.
A few months ago I did this on one of my workbenches, and the highest load rated ones I could find anywhere were sold by Grizzly, and at a reasonable price. Even so, since this particular bench is massive and I also store a lot of heavy items on a shelf below the top, there was no way to use the foot pad on the casters to raise the legs off the floor - the load is just too much. In fact, if you only raise one leg at a time, you are seriously racking your workbench anyway! Instead, I use a large crowbar and wooden block to lift the CENTER of one end of the workbench so that the legs are off the floor, flip the casters down, and then repeat on the other end. Other lighter weight tools should be much easier to move with these casters.
