I have 1/8ā alternative ivory and wondering what is the best way to cut. Scroll saw, band saw, by hand? Once shaped I plan to glue it to a putter head lām making out of purple heart. Thinking epoxy. Anyone work with this type of material?

Define "alternative ivory" for us. Is it from an alternative elephant?
I have about 8 jokes that leapt to mind, but I'm not going to write any of them.
It's plastic. Fancy plastic. Just treat it as such.
If the piece is too small, it can break on a table saw and pieces can go flying. It should scroll saw great. It sands great, and if you use really fine grits it will polish to a very high shine. Epoxy works.
I've turned it on the lathe, and it's very pretty. But it has little strength. I made a carving tool handle, and it snapped the first time I tried it. It sure was pretty though.
Thanks, I used the term alternative because that is the product description used by the supplier. But it does sound weird instead of artificial or faux. I will give the scroll saw a try on a small section as a test.
A very fine toothed handsaw --or a coping saw/ jewelers saw if there are curves. Use a file or sanding stick to smooth the edges.
I can test a coping saw as well.
