If any of you get the chance to take in a workshop with Mitch Kohanek, teaches at Dakota County technical college,Rosemount, MN.Our woodworking guild had him down in Grand Rapids,MI. to do a wood finishing seminar. A very informative day, even if your a pro as I, a 20 year vet furniture builder. I still learned a lot. He has a web for workshops that he offers through the year. at www.woodfinishing.org or www.dctc.mnscu.edu

You're right. Mitch is a pleasure to listen to; a wealth of information. I had the pleasure of hearing him in a full day seminar a few years ago in Tampa, at the Woodworking Shows. If I knew then what I know now, (when I was young) I would have taken his course he teaches at Dakota County Technical Institute. He is definitely worth listening to.
