I just installed a set on my 6" jointer. Wow! how nice to have sharp blades again. They are a little pricey up front, but cheap for new knives. Had to fuss with the jig part for the initial set-up. We'll see how long the blades last!
Dispozablades have been around for many years in the industry. The quickset holder is fairly new and simpler. I think good WKW knives are longer lasting but for many the knife setting takes it's toll on guys who hate working on machines. They aren't that expensive if you struggle with knife setting.
I looked at them a while back and ended up going with the Byrd Shelix. It's more expensive up front, but the cutters will ultimately last far longer. For a 6" jointer, the cost of the Shelix equals the cost of the Dispoz-a-blade and five cutter changes.
