Does anyone know what the yellow flecks are in Kwila, if they disappear and whether or not they return? I’m trying to stain some of this wood and the yellow isn’t absorbing the stain. I appreciate any help.
Thanks,
js

JS, I don't know anything about Kwila but I would like to get my hands on some. Where do you buy it? Where does it grow? It seems like James Krenov and students use it a fair amount in the last booK. What can you tell me about it?
Bill
