Hey anyone have info on the 12inch jointer planer combo made by Sontools? I look into it a bit more and it says manufacturer us Yuutools sold by Toolots in ceritos ca. The machine looks like the Jet just painted different. Anyoned have experience with this machine?

With some small diffs this looks like the same JP shell & table on my 12" helical from Canadian Woodworking. The build quality on my machine is good. I don't think I would want to push a wide board over the jointer with the straight knives though. I bought it over the Hammer for the smaller footprint, but the short table is tough for larger parts. Alot of energy goes to keeping parts flat on the table as you feed them. The planer works great, pretty much snipe & tearout-free...but again it is helical. After 2 years I am still missing the porkchop style guard on my old grizz. The open maw of this machine looks hungry.
