I loved the story, particularly because of Mount Vernon - my tie into the place was that George Washington was my 4th cousin 8x removed. Been there a few times and love the grounds. How great is it you were able to acquire the wood on the estate and then take your time to ensure you get the end product as you wanted it? Kudos!
Every time I take a look into these piece of furniture I ask myself: how much would I pay to take such a piece?
Is it the same amoun of money you earned from that?
How much does it cost such an amount of time to make this unique piece?
Hoping to have an answer ....... ;-)
