The book has over 300 photos and illustrations and covers topics such as buying, setting up, and maintaining a band saw as well as how to get the most out of the machine with jigs and accessories. There are also project ideas, including a three-legged shaker table, a shaker step-stool, and an oval shaker box.
Congratulations to RVH! His comment was chosen at random and he wins a copy of the book.

Sounds like a great addition to my library. I use my bandsaw quite a bit, and I'm still learning new ways to use it.
Great book for me since I just purchased a new bandsaw!

I have Mark's "Band Saw Handbook" from 1989, I still refer to it occasionally. I 'd love to have his latest book. I'm sure he has collected a lot of new tricks in the last 20 years!

Duginske's video is also great. Hope he issues an update of that too (after all, it is a video)
I need one!
I'd like to enter as well please.
I would like to win it
I don't have the best bandsaw in the world, but it can give better than I know how to ask it for. I'd be very interested in reading this book.

Looks like an exciting read.
Would love to have this book in my collection! Getting a bandsaw soon.
I have a bandsaw and would love to learn more ways to take advantage of its capabilities. The book would be very helpful.
I've seen Mark's work before on the bandsaw, so I'm sure this book is a winner! I'd love to have it.
Looks like a neat addition to the library. Count me in.
I've been having a heck of a time trying to resaw with my saw. The blade wanders in the cut even after adjusting for drift. Perhaps this book will help. Count me in.
I would love a chance to win the bandsaw book. I read every kind of woodworking book I can get. Thanks for the giveaway.
Count me in, it's mine already!!! Thanks FW.
Bandsaws are something I don't know much about.
this would be the perfect companion to my new bandsaw.
I like my bandsaw but I realize I do not use it as much as I can.
My band saw is the bain of my existence.
this is a very cool idea
Would be great to be able to resaw without cupping!
You can never know enough so knowing everything about a bandsaw would be a plus!
This would be a great addition to the library.
I have been following the various articles in FWW magazine by Michael Fortune on tuning and use of the bandsaw with great interest. I would greatly appreciate a copy of Mark Duginske's book to further enhance what I have learn't to date
I'm a big fan of my bandsaw and would like to learn more ways to use it.
this is the favorite power tool in my shop. does so much so easily. I am always ready to learn more.
One might quibble about whether the band saw is the *most* important tool in the shop, but it's certainly among the top contenders in my shop. Now, to go carve one of those big "champion" belts out of wood (oval cut on the bandsaw, of course), and hire a couple of "round girls". ;-)
if i don't win it i will buy it. yeah band saw!
HI I just don't know how to get the best out of my bandsaw and in fact I hardly use it, it would be good to be able to use it to the maximum for all my future woodworking projects
I already have a great Bandsaw book but this one would make a great gift to a friend that just inherited a bandsaw and has no idea how to use it.
Thanks Betsy! What a great addition this book would be to my burgeoning woodworking career! 25 years as a naval officer and now onto higher learning! Max
Thanks for the chance to win another good book. I hope there are more book giveaways to come.
does anyone know where I can get a good book on band saws?
A serious bandsaw is next on my list...doing the research now, but there are as many opinions as there are choices!
My bandsaw vibrates, howls, cuts curves when I want to go straight -- cuts straight when I want to cut curves. If only I had a book on it...
I have Mark's earlier book "Bandsaw Handbook" and thought so much of it that I took a lesson from him. Besides being a great technical writer, inventor, and master at the bandsaw, Mark is a genuine nice guy.
Congratulation on your new book Mark,
Tom Smith
The Buy link is dead. Could you please fix?
