Very ingenious.
I am a "work with what you got" kinda guy. That is just cool!
I would MUCH rather play at your piano than I would at mine. Really cleaver.
It's not shown on the photo, but the keyboard is now a full extension 24" X 48" X 2" drawer. Perfect for chisels and gouges and all things small.

Hey Taunton editors--
The photos online for the tool box contest were all tiny, even when we clicked on the links. The only hi res pic was of the horse! Stop listening to your web guy and give me something I can see the beautiful details of!
PS- Good lookin' horse- don't know about the woodwork!!
Probably the most wonderful tool cabinet I have ever seen.
I love it. It works and it have plenty of space and humor.
Thank you for sharing this,
MaFe
Just how heavy is this tool box? What size casters did you use to roll it around, probably at least 6-inch wheels. I think it would be a little difficult to take to a job site to do some finish work, or a daughters house for repairs. Nice Job, and a lot of fun.
