This is a solid maple highchair that I built for my twin boys. The design is my own, although it is loosely based on a dining chair that I saw. I turned or carved or shaped every single piece. All of the joints are wood on wood (a first for me!). It is finished with an antique milk paint and linseed oil finish.

Tom05: My twins seem like they eat about 9 hours a day right now, so yes, they use it a lot! IT would be a while before I could get around to building another one, since I have quite a few projects lined up right now. But If I get time, I'll certainly let you know!
Beautiful piece of furniture. This is a family heirloom for sure. I would not part with something like this.
