Philip C. Lowe was a long-time woodworker, who got his first taste of of the craft while serving in the Navy. He went on to become one of the most respected and well-known instructors in the country and operated his own school, the Furniture Institute of Massachusetts. Lowe passed away in January 2021. FWW published a tribute to him in issue #288 (April 2021). He made this video workshop in 2012.

Thank you for this video. I am about to make 2 side tables and my pine mockups are looking good!
Timing of these videos was perfect in that my customer just chose cabriole legs for her elegant chess table that will be made out of maple with Gaboon Ebony and Hard Maple squares. Inlays will be employed to accent and add character while attempting to have the design complement her Tuscan style library. Thanks for the well done and easily understood videos.
