Cabinet for Heritage Edition of the Saint John's Bible
This is a cabinet for the Saint John’s Bible Project – the first hand written and illuminated bible commissioned by a Benedictine monastery in over 500 years. The cabinet is designed to house the Heritage Edition – the high quality facsimile copies of the original Saint John’s Bible. It has 1 leather lined drawer for each of the 7 volumes as well as a commentary. The top portion has a leather book cradle under glass for long term display.
Sustainably harvested quarter sawn red oak, Welsh oak, ebony, leather, brass and glass.

it is both beautiful and functional. It would make a marvelous drafting table.
