That is as beautiful a piece as I have ever seen - but do you need to put a limit on the weight of a person using it? Although it may not be, it looks all too fragile.
With admiration,
Pete
Im sorry, I just got your message. If its not too late to respond, I understand there is a weight limit of 275 lbs. It is extrememly durable and rock solid. The wieght requirement is more dictated by a persons size to be able to fit in the chair. I actully built it for my wife who is petite. I am 6'1", 200 lbs. and find it extememly durable and comfortable even for my size and hae a frined who is 250 lbs and found eually the same (though I was a little concrned at first). I admit on the next one Im building, I intend to strengthen thicken the main side legs, more for cosmetic purpose. Thanks for your inquiry.
