Platter is Sweet Chestnut with scorched and carved rim. Bowl is Spalted Oak. Both pieces with carved and brass inlaid insignia of the Marine Biological Association, UK.
Two turned pieces commissioned by Aberystwyth University (Wales) for their Marine Biological Association Conference. Platter approx 14″ diam x 1 1/2″ deep. Bowl approx 7″ diam x 4″ deep.
