I am inspired by your chair work.
I have been looking for a similiar design to be made with some of our indigenous woods here in hawaii.
I am looking for design plans should anyone guide me to a location.
Aloha!
I have all of my patterns for this rocking chair. You can copy any that you want.
I think this is a beautiful rocker, I too would also be interested in your patterns for this chair. You must be very proud of this rocker!
What made you decide to use sapele?
Jason, I have used Sapele one three other chairs and on numerous boxes. I have also used Sapele as a veneer on various projects. I do like the quality of this wood as the grain has some hidden qualities that seem to come out when it is finished in either a high gloss coat of oil or poly.
Awesome job on the chair!
I love using Sapele on many of my projects. Just finished a beautiful rocking bassinet for my newest grand-daughter with it and it looked great.
Could i also get your pattern for this chair? I would love to try it. I have a large format plotter if you have it electronically. I have never done joinery of this type and am dying to try it!

Thanks,
Steve
