This is a thank you gift for a neighbor who gave me a couple of walnut logs from his property. The box was an attempt to practice the “Better Way to Build Boxes” by Doug Stowe in the Nov/Dec 2008 Fine Woodworking issue. The cover design includes a laser cut outline of the lake our neighbor enjoys at their summer home.
