Pool Cue Racks

I built the original rack out of padauk for a friend. The black and white photo was included in Fine WoodWorking Design Book Two published in 1979. Many years later another friend asked for a similar one but with a shelf for the chalk, etc. The second one is painted fir. Some years after that I needed one for my own use. I’ve been using the third one for some time now and the cue sticks seem to like it OK. It’s made of fir and comes apart by unscrewing the steel shaft running down the center.
