This desk was made from scrap lumber in my garage. Combination of shop grade maple ply and pine. The only thing purchased was the laminate for the top , which is layed over 3/4 MDF with an additional 1/2″ added to the perimiter, and the hardware for the pull-out key board. I already had some discarded holders for the cd’s on the left. A roll-out tray holds the PC tower. The laminate inlay on the pine trim of the top was interesting to do and fortunately turned out ok. Woodworking is truly a great hobby.

Beautifully made from "scrap" wood. I hope I can one day produce something so good from ply, pine and MDF.
