Our youngest son wanted a coffee table for his living room. I modified a design from a Greene & Greene Library table adding my own touches. I used Red Oak with ebonized Maple for the plugs and splines. Stained with Minwax oil based Red Oak and finished with Minwax Polyurethane. The table is a Christmas present. I’m certain that matching end tables will be part of my 2009 project list.
