I went to a wood show a couple of months ago and was intrigued by one of the vendors making bandsaw boxes. I retired to my 12 X 20 wood shed and tried to make bandsaw jewelry boxes for our granddaughters and wood piggy banks with three compartments in the shape of books for our grandsons. The three compartments are for the Lord’s portion (Malachi 3:10 inscribed on spine), future education, and short term immediate goals (in other words, pay as you go). I hope they enjoy the gifts as much as I enjoyed making them for them.
