I made the board by gluing together alternating strips of 1/2″ thick mahogany and bass wood lengthwise (1 1/4″ x 15″). I then cross cut 1 1/4″ lengths from this to create 8 strips of alternating 1 1/4″ squares. These were then glued together to form the board. I made the feet by casting pewter in a hand carved mold.
