this matching set of red oak end tables was embellished with used ash hockey sticks that my friend "rescued" dumpster diving in back of our local ice rink. They are a Christmas gift for my adult son who still plays goalie and coaches. The goalie blade shelves and all pieces are mortise and tenoned and glued.

glass inserts were added on the table tops to preserve the "character" of the used hockey sticks

These are some really nice end tables. I am looking to do something very similar with all my old broken sticks from over the years. Could you fill me in on how you went about making these? Dimensions, materials, etc? I am looking to make a coffee table though. My email is joeyjordano@gmail.com
