These ornaments and display stand are part of an ongoing design series. Each incarnation changes and grows. This particular piece is made up of a quilted cherry base and laminated ornaments of black walnut, maple, cherry, and bloodwood. All of the brass work is created by hand including the hanging “eye’s” and the lower spire. The finish on this display is a custom combination of varnish, turpentine, and linseed oil.
