My departed grandmother taught me how to make homemade Christmas wreaths since she never could afford one. You basically take a straw wreath and use floral pins to cover it in pine needle clumps. I then come back with magnolia leaves to cover the pine. I finish it off with clumps of real holly and a red bow and give to my friends at Christmas.
For $5 you can make a $75 wreath that is far more beautiful than one you buy. directions above…the supplies…a $1 straw wreath and floral pins and ribbon. The rest of the items are acquired from a yard.
