Modern Entertaiment center
Few weeks ago I posted my latest piece and the response was great.
This “entertainment center” I made few months ago. It is in my house, I still haven’t made anything for anyone else:). The black part is veneered; it is dyed veneer that I bought on line. The white is gloss paint, I did it by hand, since my shop is in the basement and I cannot spray anything. The black cover is plexiglas, it actually slides in place quite easy. The design is entirely mine; it wasn’t specifically made for the space, the idea was that it would work in any corner. The TV equipment is in the white part and all the cables to the TV are at the back. I also have a couple of small shelves at the back for my router (internet, not shop:) and an external hard drive.

Very nice design and implementation. Slick and neat. You asked about my "river panels" and the resin. I used various resins, polyester, polyurethane, and epoxies. Each has different pros/cons and I use them in different situations. First the bond to the surrounding wood has to be perfect because the resin is structural, holding the wood together. Some of the resins require they be cured under heat and vacuum, so there are problems to solve. Thanks for your comment on my work.
