I built this night table in my garage in the evenings while taking my first year of cabinetry schooling last fall. The design was inspired by my late uncle who first attracted me to woodworking. Legs are solid walnut and the top is solid maple. I got lucky and found a piece of curly maple that i used for the front edge. The drawer is dovetailed maple with a walnut drawer bottom and walnut drawer front. The Legs run right through the top and are locked with maple wedges. I had a lot of fun and learned a ton while building it. I hope others can appreciate it.
