awesome ... i love ash . what did you use for stain i would like to build a similar door .. good job
If I remember correctly the door was stave cored, with solid ash panels. The Ash veneer is app. 1/4". I beliece the initial color is Trans Tint analine dye. After sealing I popped the grain with dark walnut Bartelys Gel Stain. Sealed, then top coated with several coats of spar varnish. The peremiter glass is opaque stained glass. The center glass is laminated restoration glass.
