This is a simple doweled box with a barrelhinged lid. The lid has a geometric design made from scrap pieces of different shades of wood cut at a 22.5 degree angle and alternately glued up. This was a project made during a advanced box making class at Mount Diablo adult education class in Pleasant Hill, California. Box made with Walnut, Yellowheart and Jarrah.
