This is a desk top Humidor I built for myself. It’s made from Figured Bubinga, Quilted Maple and Spanish Cedar. It’ll hold 50 cigars. The hinges are hand made from Bubinga and the corners are double, double Box Joints. The finish is 5 coats of Tung oil and 3 coats of paste wax. This is another project that I didn’t draw or write any dimensions down. That little voice in my head just won’t shut up until I start cutting. In my gallery at www.festoolownersgroup there’s 100 pictures with descriptions of the build. Please enjoy.

Another amazing box. I really enjoyed seeing this. It makes me want to go to the shop and try my hand at double-double box joints on the incra. :)
Amazing work,I can/t imagine the hours that went into this humidor.I look forward to seeing your next project... Garbandz
One Word - STUNNING!!!
Fantastic work and an excellent example of Fine Woodworking. It really belongs in a gallery.
Thank you very much for the compliments. I've been fortunate to find wood with such figure. AS far as the use of the Incra goes, I've developed my own way to use it which gives me a much better end result. It was very difficult to be consistent using their method. Now It can be 100% repeatable so I never have 2 joints with slight differences. Their method is a great starting point though.
this is some excellent craftsmanship---Very nice lines and details are awesome. Like a work of art.Very nice.
Beautiful craftsmanship on this piece. The materials selected for this piece arew awesome!! Great job!
So, what's your Incra method?
Beautiful work!

That box is simply stunning. As a fellow Incra owner, I'm painfully aware of the slight differences in joints using their methodology. I'd really appreciate your sharing your secret to 100% repeatability.
