Hinge Side
This box was made for a Native American relative. The handle is a white tail deer antler that was picked up alongside the road. All wood was salvaged from a subdivision site burn pile and hand milled. The base and frame for the top are sassafras. All other components are red cedar. The hasp and hinges are shaped from 16d nails. The basic design is a shrunken version of a tool chest project found in an old Shop Notes magazine. The embelishments are inspired by the work of Andy Sanchez

made from nails, inspired! I wish you had better pictures maybe taken out doors.
From what I can see it is a beautiful piece.
