Expandable workbench
This is my new workbench that I designed and built over the last couple of months.
I was inspired by a lot of different workbench projects and incorporated design elements from a number of workbenches.
What I wanted was a rigid, fairly cheap workbench that I could use in my very small shop. It needed to double as an outfeed table for my semi-stationary table saw and therefore I added height-adjustable feet to it.
The most unique design feature on it is the expandable bench top. The bench top is split into two pieces where the back piece can be pushed back and forth on the base of the bench. This creates a gap where the blade of my plunge saw can run, which makes it easy for me to cut down large sheets to size. Very usable!

Very nice concept with the expandable top that can double as a cutting table. Any issues with rigidity in the unexpanded setup or do you have a way to lock the halves together?
Well done!
