What's the story on the top of the box? Very nice! Great choice in woods.
All the surfers I have known get out of the water and shake or wipe their hair and then it stands on end. I used hardwood dowels sharpened with several pencil sharpeners or whittled. I hope it comes across as spikey hair. I tried several things including hardwood shavings, but this worked best. Thanks for the comments.
A very fun project. I like the back-story and whimsical use of form.
