beautiful, clean, modern aesthetic. What are the legs made of? Is that iron? How is are the planks attached?

The legs are made of iron bars welded as a frame with bolts hanging from the top to penetrate the wood and lock it with a nut within the wood thickness.
This is a well-designed, eye-catching piece. A modern table in its essential form. Very, very nice.
