Recycled Redwood Table Top
These boards spent at least 20 years as a deck before it was rebuilt by the current homeowners. They provided sketches of their concept and I did the design and construction.
The redwood was pretty rough and used up a set of planer knives before I got the the final thickness. The old nail holes were filled with a clear epoxy, the inlays were made from some scrap maple I had, and the top was finished with approximately six coats of water based polyurethane.
The top was installed on a set of legs the customer salvaged from an old table.
