Main tray surface consists of cutoffs from a recent kitchen floor project (5/16 in. solid oak wood flooring); tray edges salvaged from oak from damaged library furniture deemed not repairable; maple strips used for highlighting corks; corks from wine enjoyed over the past several years (two long sides–domestic wines; one short side–Italian wines, the other short side–South American wines; four bumper-feet cut from champagne corks).
