Wow! Beautifully done. I'd love to see a photo of the cabinet open.
Yeah. Let's see it open
I agree with the others, lets see it open. Very creative and unique design on the outside. Well done.
Beautifully done, you’ve got my vote. Your work has inspired me on my latest project.
Thanks for the compliments and encouraging me to dig into my computer files for the additional images.
Hey, I'm glad I joined when the case is open! Inside and out,his whole piece is permeated with love and respect for woodworking (and woodworkers.) If I had such a chest, it would inspire me to greater creative heights. You've got my vote, if I can figure out how to cast it!
Great cabinet. I appreciate the detail in the marquetry but, even more, I appreciate the story in that marquetry. That's what separates this from all the rest.
Absolutely fine piece of work... inspirational.
I think it's important to note how Kristen has combined her love of biology and nature into her love of working with wood - making this not only a functional piece but but stunning piece of art. For some of us with no knowledge of woodworking and terms, the detail is not painted on this cabinet; it's all wood.

You have my vote. I've seen this piece of art in person and it's even more beautiful.
The delicate beauty and grace of the marquetry design is phenomenal. I have seen this piece in person and love it.
A beautiful cabinet. The marquetry is exquisite in execution but also in its story from tree to furniture.
Also, the interior detail, the bookmatching of the grain.
It is inspiring and tells me to ditch my tool boxes and finally make a nice tool cabinet for my beloved chisels and hand planes!
I hope you win the saw!!!
