Classic Machinist’s Chest
This chest was inspired by a tool chest my father owned. Unlike many modern machinist’s chests, a current machinist’s handbook actually fits in the handbook drawer. The chest is built entirely out of quarter sawn white oak, except for the drawer bottoms, which are made of 1/8” Baltic birch. I was unable to find a suitable set of plans to build the chest, so I designed my own plans. These plans are now available for purchase on eBay.

Beautiful, excellent work. I'm going to check out ebay for the plans.
Great plan, I purchased a set myself, built the chest and installed all the hardware in nickel from one supplier. http://WWW.MACHINISTCHEST.COM
I really like this tool chest, have been looking for good plans for a long time. I was unable to find the plans on ebay, can you post a link or contact me?
Thanks,
Ed
Yeah, I’m looking for that too!
I think you can find the plans here now: https://www.woodsmithplans.com/plan/machinists-chest/
