I enjoy making furniture from used wine barrels which are really inexpensive and quality wood. You just have to figure out how to work with all of the curves! The tilt top table is from a Mario Rodriguez article.

I love the chairs/table. Where did you get the hoops? I have been looking to make a few wine barrels...having trouble finding a source for the hoops.

Paul, I make wine barrel furniture as well. The "hoops" come with the wine barrels; it is what holds all the staves in place around the tops and bottoms. The challenge is to recycle those instead of tossing them in the scrap pile.
